Easter at Herne Hill

Track racing really is hard to gauge on the telly. When you see the size of a vellodrome and how quick these riders get round it is quite staggering.

Glorious day, that would have otherwise been spent watching the television. And my first sun burn of the year!!!!!

Mind the deer, Dear.

Our first visit to Richmond Park, London. Something to do on a Sunday, and worth every second.

If you haven’t been before its hard to imagine you are in London. A park full of lots of cyclists, cars travelling at 20mph and wild deer. I don’t think I have ever been as close to a deer as this and I certainly didn’t expect to be this close to one in our capitol.

Twas a bit breezy and although the wind was fun when it was behind us, that cant be said of the reverse. No pain no gain. We hope to be back later in the year when the summer is really here. A picnic will be the order of the day.
